Aran Organization and Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate: Paving the Way for Journalists’ Future

 

Aran Organization for the Development of Civic Culture, with support from the National Endowment for Democracy and in partnership with the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, works to reactivate the Retirement Fund of Journalists in the Kurdistan Region.

On January 24, 2024, in Erbil, at the headquarters of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, the Aran Organization team met with Mr. Aazad Hama Amin, the Head of the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate, and Mr. Bzhar Hakim, the deputy of the Kurdistan Journalists. During the meeting, both entities discussed the next steps.

The Head and Deputy of the Kurdistan Journalists expressed their determination to reactivate the Retirement Fund of Journalists, which is closely related to the future of journalists. The Kurdistan Syndicate of Journalists is a key participant in the Endowment Fund of Journalists, working to reactivate it.

The Aran Organization, with support from the National Endowment for Democracy and through Clinical Legal Activity, works to reactivate the Journalists’ Retirement Fund. The common goal unites both the Aran Organization and the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate
