On September 3, 2022, the Aran Organization participated in a seminar held between the Speaker of the Kurdistan Parliament, Dr. Rewas Fayaq; the Deputy Head of the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO) Department, Hardi Ahmad; and a number of organizations from the governorates of Sulaimani, Halabja, and the Garmian administration.

The meeting was organized for the purpose of discussing the operational environment for organizational work in the Kurdistan Region, the obstacles faced by organizations (particularly those created by the NGO Department), the non-implementation of the Right to Information Law, and to conduct a brief assessment of the work of the fifth parliamentary term.

The meeting took place in the city of Sulaimani at the Ramada Hotel
