Aran Organization for the Development of Civic Culture
Aran Organization for the Development of Civic Culture is a non-governmental organization established in 2013 as an outcome of a project supported by the National Endowment for Democracy. The organization is headquartered in Sulaymaniyah Governorate, in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
Aran is officially registered in accordance with the laws and regulations of both the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Federal Government of Iraq. Since its establishment, the organization has been working to promote civic culture, peacebuilding, human rights, and democratic values through community engagement, advocacy, and capacity-building initiatives.
