Takiyah, Chamchamal – Building on the success of our first center, a second vital community center dedicated to supporting Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) women and girls has officially opened its doors in Takiyah county, near Chamchamal.
This new center is a collaborative effort between the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and Aran Organization for Developing Civil Culture. Our first successful center, established in 2014 in Charom city/Chamchamal, has been a cornerstone in providing essential services.
The Takiyah center will offer critical social and psychological support to IDP women and girls, facilitated by a dedicated team of social workers. Additionally, a doctor will be on-site to provide much-needed health support, addressing a key area of need within the community.
This expansion signifies our continued commitment to empowering and safeguarding the well-being of IDP women and girls in the region.
