On February 15, 2026, the team of Aran Organization for Civil Society Development held a meeting in Erbil with Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Region. The meeting took place within the framework of Aran Organization's project, supported by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED).

The purpose of the meeting was to advance the ongoing collaboration between Aran Organization and the Ministry of Health toward implementing health sector reforms, as well as to discuss the Ministry's plans to act upon the recommendations that emerged from Aran Organization's conferences on health sector governance.
