SULAYMANIYAH, Kurdistan Region — As part of the annual Health Week campaign launched by the General Directorate of Social Reform of the Kurdistan Region, Aran Organization for the Development of Civic Culture on August 12, 2026 actively participated by conducting a specialized seminar for female and juvenile inmates at the Sulaymaniyah Adult Reformatory.

Empowering through Self-Confidence

The seminar, titled "The Power of Self-Belief," was led by professional trainer Shwan Rahim. The session focused on the psychological theories of self-confidence and personal empowerment, providing participants with practical tools to rebuild their sense of agency. The seminar saw active engagement from a significant number of inmates, emphasizing the importance of mental and emotional well-being as a pillar of rehabilitation.

This marks the second consecutive year that Aran Organization has contributed to this week-long initiative.
