On March 15, 2026, staff members of Aran Organization held a meeting in Erbil with Dr. Saman Barzanji, Minister of Health of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, to discuss preparations for an upcoming conference on health sector management reform.

The conference focuses on drafting a strategic framework for health sector management in the Kurdistan Region. It is being organized by Aran Organization with the support of the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), in partnership with the Ministry of Health of the Kurdistan Region.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to align on goals, coordinate preparations, and strengthen the collaborative relationship between Aran Organization and the Ministry of Health ahead of this key initiative.
